The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats defeated the Irving Blue Sox, 6-3, at Heron Field. Lake Minnetonka shortstop António Amaya was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Jin-soo Jan-Hui got the win, improving to 5-4. He held the Blue Sox to 3 earned runs on 4 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 6. Takejiro Masuda, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Alfonso Cabedo tagged a home run off Ramón Flores in the bottom of the fifth. His 3-run blast put the Love Boats on top, 5-3. In all, Cabedo had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"It feels good to get this one," Amaya told the Lake Minnetonka News.

The Love Boats are now 31-21, while the Blue Sox fall to 21-31.
