Love Boats Come Back Late, Nip Fighting Imps
|
Lake Minnetonka rode a decent outing from starter Jin-soo Jan-Hui to victory over the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Heron Field. The final score was 4-3. Lake Minnetonka reliever Mark Jacobson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Kian-tat Ts'ai took the loss. Picking up the save was Takejiro Masuda, his 6th.
Arto Toikka, who is tied for 8th in the SAA in triples with 2, aided the Lake Minnetonka cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lake Minnetonka manager Culley Adjeng.
The Love Boats, at 25-19, sit in 4th place in the Silver AA.
