The Richland Rails picked up a win at Marquette Stadium, knocking off the Marquette Miners, 11-1. Starting pitcher Zuo-lin Liang played a key role in the triumph. Richland has now won 3 in a row.
Liang, a native of Chengdu, China, was dealing all game. He kept Marquette hitters off-balance, while giving the Rails 8.2 quality innings. Liang threw 112 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 3.
