Multi-HR Game for Bryant in 6-4 Win
|
Billings center fielder Pat Bryant had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Akron Blimps, 6-4. The Polar Bears saw their win-loss record go to 19-16. At the same time, the Blimps fell to 20-15.
Bryant had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Rod Shannon, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Polar Bears a 6-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Bryant.
"It was a solid team effort," said Bryant after the game.
