|
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes picked up a win at Crane Field, knocking off the Pawnee ParksNRec, 6-3. Starting pitcher Pedro Aguilar, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Santa Barbara goes to 66-33. The win puts them 6½ games up in their division.
James Pike, who is tied for 4th in the SAAA with a .307 batting average, contributed to the Santa Barbara win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
