The Alloway Halberds picked up a win at Ballpark of Alloway, knocking off the Hialeah Dodos, 6-4. On the mound for Alloway was right-hander Joe Holland, who played a pivotal role in the win. Frank Butler notched his 8th save in 10 chances. Alloway is 8th in the Silver AAA with a record of 39-53.

Alloway right fielder Carlos Garza contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a 2-run double. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Halberds ahead, 4-0.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Garza told the Alloway Today. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
