The inspired effort of Billings first baseman Charles Geudre was not enough to prevent a 9-6 loss to the Casper Ghosts. Geudre went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Raśl Hinojosa earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 6 earned runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 6 strikeouts. With the win, Casper elevates its record to 5-3.

Casper used the clutch hitting of Tatsui Kiyomizu to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to give the Ghosts the lead, 4-3. For the game, Kiyomizu had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Casper manager Martin Gaines.
