Losing Streak Continues for Halberds with 4-2 Loss to Redbirds
The Memphis Redbirds got a strong performance from pitcher Jason Sanders, who stymied the Alloway offense en route to a 4-2 win at Lansing Park. The slumping Halberds have lost 10 straight.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but George Kane didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Alloway trailing 4-2, Kane retired Mike Clifton to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Kane, with a wink.
