The San Antonio BC beat the Richland Rails, 6-0, at Rails Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Tong-sik Im, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. With the win, San Antonio goes to 3-2.
The BC had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the sixth. The score was 5-0, San Antonio, with two out. Richland, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Huibrecht Bloemheuvel dug in at the plate, but on a 2-0 fastball, he grounded out.
