Arnaud Sensational for Rocketeers
|
Seattle starter Alain Arnaud put a stranglehold on the Brooklyn offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Rocketeers to a 1-0 win. The 8th-place Rocketeers lifted their record to 46-49.
Arnaud, who dominated for Seattle, earned the victory to move to 6-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 2. Brooklyn batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"We had a good game plan," Arnaud said, "and we were able to execute it."
