Knights Clip Stingers in Tight Contest
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Glenn Curtis, the Kingston Township Knights defeated the Toledo Stingers, 10-8. Curtis went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Knights. Kingston Township reliever Erick Indiano picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Josef van der Poel shouldered the loss. John Riggleman got credit for the save for Kingston Township. It was his 22nd of the year.

Kingston Township used the timely hitting of Khal Drogo to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Knights ahead, 9-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It feels good to get this one," Curtis told the Kingston Township Observer.

The 6th-place Knights improved to 45-44.
