Athletic Club KC Lose, 4-2, at Cloverdale Legion Park
|
Kingston Township left-hander Chase Sims made an effective start against the Athletic Club KC at Cloverdale Legion Park, leading his team to a 4-2 win. John Riggleman was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 17 of 20 save opportunities. The Knights now own a record of 38-36.
Kingston Township took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, first baseman Scott Robertson hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Robertson. "And not try to do too much."
