Pedro Gutiérrez left his imprint on the 7-4 Montana win against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Gutiérrez, who is tied for 4th in the 3L in hits with 86, went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Jaime van de Weideven got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. Brandon Franklin finished the game for Montana and earned his 2nd save.

Gutiérrez came through with some timely hitting for Montana. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the first and no one down, Gutiérrez hit a full count fastball for a 3-run home run. His 15th home run of the season made it 3-0, Montana.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gutiérrez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
