Victory Over Pandas Takes Brooklyn to 43-25
|
The Brooklyn Dodgers picked up a win at Ebbetts Field, knocking off the Montana Pandas, 4-2. Starting pitcher Javier Desdin, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Dodgers own a robust 43-25 mark.
In the bottom of the first, Aaron Day hit a 2-run home run for Brooklyn. The 9th home run of the season for the Brooklyn first baseman put the Dodgers on top, 2-0.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Desdin.
