Mendoza Helps Panama City Outscore Montana
|
Panama City right fielder António Mendoza had a 8-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 26-10 win over the Montana Pandas. The 'W' lifts Panama City's record to 29-34.
Panama City needed the clutch hitting of Nathan Tanner to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Piranhas on top, 5-3. For the game, Tanner had 1 home run and 3 singles in 6 at-bats.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante.
