Piranhas Stuterberg Blanks 1837 BBC
|
Harry Stuterberg kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Panama City Piranhas were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Houston 1837 BBC at The Tank today. The right-handed Stuterberg gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 6 strikeouts.
"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Stuterberg said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
On the year Stuterberg has worked 60.2 innings with 49 strikeouts en route to a 4-3 record and 4.75 ERA.
