Victory Over Halberds Takes Santa Barbara to 53-23
Pitcher Ryan Peterson was sensational for the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Alloway Halberds. Peterson received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Giuseppe Farina sewed up the save, his 1st. Santa Barbara improves to 53-23 with the win. They lead their division by 8˝ games.

Rocky Zolman had a big run-scoring single for the Golden Cranes in the top of the sixth inning. With Santa Barbara leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Carlos Simon and stroked the single to center. It was his 80th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Golden Cranes ahead, 2-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Zolman said after the game.
