The first-place Santa Barbara Golden Cranes picked up another win at Crane Field.

The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes pounded the Plymouth Rocks, 16-1, at Crane Field. Santa Barbara left fielder James Pike had a solid game. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Golden Cranes. Cipriano Pinto picked up the win, improving his season record to 10-4. He struck out 8 in 7.2 innings.

Stanley van de Ven put Santa Barbara in front, 16-0, when he took Sherten Apostel downtown. His 3-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the eighth. It was his 4th home run of the season.

Pike told a Santa Barbara Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The first-place Golden Cranes have won 4 in a row.
