Benefiting from António Delgado's productive game, the Sacramento Redlegs downed the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 7-5. Delgado went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Redlegs. The win lifts Sacramento to a record of 6-6.

Had Wilson Sabadodíaz not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Sabadodíaz hit a 2-run double. That made the score 7-5, in favor of the Redlegs.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Sacramento manager Rich Hunter.
