Lynx Squelch Disaster Offense in Shutout Win
The Calgary Lynx went home winners at Lynx Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Ángel Flores. Flores silenced the Port Royal Disaster, enabling Calgary to grab the 5-0 win. Ainanani Oliwa closed the game out for Calgary, earning his 7th save. Port Royal has now lost 4 straight.

Mauro López dealt the Disaster a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Calgary leading 2-0, López hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run single.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Flores said.
