Lynx Bump Off Disaster, 7-4

It was a fun time at Lynx Stadium, where the Port Royal Disaster and Calgary Lynx tangled.
Calgary right fielder Sergio Cruz was instrumental in his team's 7-4 win over the Port Royal Disaster. Cruz went 2-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Lynx. José Larranaga closed the game out for Calgary, earning his 1st save.
Cruz contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Calgary in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-1, Cruz took a circle change from Ira Hipps and stroked the home run to right-center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Lynx to leap in front, 5-4.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Cruz. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
Calgary is now 38-59, Port Royal 47-50.
