Supernovas Top Belugas to Even Record
|
Scranton Supernovas starter Kent Horton was in fine form against the Brinkley Belugas at Nuclear Stadium, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Magnus Belli got the save, his 4th in 4 chances. The Supernovas bumped their record to 47-47 with this latest triumph.
Early in the game, third baseman John Willoughby had a 2-run double for Scranton. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Supernovas on top, 3-1.
"I really like what we did out there today," Willoughby said after the game.
