Golden Cranes Fall Short, 3-2, at Alloway
|
Alloway rode a fine outing from starter Joel Farrell to victory over the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Ballpark of Alloway. The final score was 3-2. Lex Janssen finished to wrap up his 2nd save. With the win, Alloway pushes its record to 2-2.
Alloway took a 3-2 lead on Brenton Winston's 3rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Winston hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Santa Barbara pitcher Pedro Aguilar shaking his head.
"A great game, a great day," said Farrell about the win. "I can't complain."
