Scranton rode a decent outing from starter Gilberto Pontojá to victory over the Texas Bronze Sox at Nuclear Stadium. The final score was 7-3. Scranton goes to 41-44, Texas to 35-50.
António Casas, the Scranton center fielder, contributed a 2-run triple in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 3-0, Supernovas. For the game, Casas was 1-3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs.
