The Sunset District Fog relied on the hitting of left fielder Michael Hughes to stop the Scranton Supernovas, 11-7. For the game, Hughes went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Aad Stuut picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Matt O'Keevan was tagged with the loss. Benjamin Wyles recorded the save for Sunset District, his 3rd of the season.

Cecil Nelson broke a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Fog in front, 7-6. For the game, Nelson drove in one run.

"A great game, a great day," said Hughes about the win. "I can't complain."

The Fog now own a record of 39-38.
