The Sunset District Fog went home winners at Ballpark of Port Royal, thanks in large part to starter Mark Smith. Smith silenced the Port Royal Disaster, enabling Sunset District to grab the 6-0 win. Yajirobei Matsumoto converted his 3rd save in 6 tries. The third-place Fog improved to 37-32.

Sunset District used the timely hitting of Jim McMahon to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Fog on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We did a lot of things right," said Smith.
