The Jersey City Tritons and Port Royal Disaster played an exciting game at Jersey City Grounds.
Jersey City starter Ratko Davidovic pitched effectively against the Port Royal Disaster at Jersey City Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Mac Hippenhammer was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 3 save opportunities.
Jersey City took a 3-0 lead on Santiago Valentín's 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Valentín hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Port Royal pitcher Maurice Hilliard shaking his head.
"I was a little disappointed," said Port Royal manager Omer van Osch. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
Today's win puts Jersey City at 30-34, while Port Royal falls to 31-33.
