New Orleans Voodoo starter Sy-ing Tah was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Oakland Oaks, 5-3. Tah, now 4-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Jorge Villanueva earned the save for New Orleans, his 6th of the year.

The Voodoo grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With one out, Tae-cho Han, who led the PL in OPS with .993 in 2036, hit a 2-run home run off Kevin Nogilny, putting New Orleans in front, 5-1. For Han, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"We did enough to win," said Tah.

The Oaks, at 12-36, have lost 12 straight games.
