Kroening Helps Grey Wolves Beat Silver Sox
|
The Vancouver Grey Wolves trumped the Chicago Silver Sox, 5-3, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Vancouver first baseman Johan Kroening was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Arnie Harper, the winner, improved to 4-5. He held the Silver Sox to 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Chicago's current losing streak is now 6 games.
