Multi-HR Game for Yi in 6-4 Win

Brinkley and Texas duked it out at Bronze Sox Park and the Belugas came out victorious.
The Brinkley Belugas grabbed a 6-4 win over the Texas Bronze Sox at Bronze Sox Park. Brinkley designated hitter Jung-joon Yi slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice to earn player of the game honors. The win was Desiderio Toccafundo's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Manuel Torres took the loss for Texas. Wu-ti Xuan earned his 5th save in 8 tries.
Yi had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 curveball from Manuel Torres, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Belugas a 6-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Yi.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Yi said.
Texas, at 18-33, has lost 5 straight.
