Supernovas Bump Off Humpbacks, 8-5

Scranton and Alaskan duked it out at Sea World and the Supernovas came out victorious.
Despite a great performance by Alaskan shortstop José Torres, the Scranton Supernovas defeated the Humpbacks by the score of 8-5 at Sea World. Torres went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Supernovas sit in third place in the Premier AAA with a record of 26-22.
Scranton used a timely hit from Jeff Quesenberry to get the win. The shortstop delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Supernovas on top, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Quesenberry told the Scranton Bulletin.
