González Now 2-1 After Subduing Shuckers
|
Lancaster Farmers starter Carlos González was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Biloxi Shuckers, 3-0. Even with the win, the Farmers have a dismal 8-16 record.
The Farmers liked what they saw from González. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Shuckers to no earned runs on 2 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 4.
"I liked his command," said Lancaster manager Luis Barroco. "Carlos was throwing strikes."
