Toikka Belts Bunch of Base Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Arto Toikka today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Imps Park and paced the Love Boats to a 22-11 win over the Ithaca Fighting Imps.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Lake Minnetonka center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Arto Toikka singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Callum Dallin in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

This season in 20 games Toikka is batting .310 with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and has scored 13 times.
