Love Boats Score Late, Top Fighting Imps, 7-6

Imps Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats and the Ithaca Fighting Imps.
Ithaca got a terrific performance from catcher Graeme Dormer, but it wasn't enough to beat the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats. Lake Minnetonka won the Imps Park contest, 7-6. Dormer was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tao Seto closed the door for Lake Minnetonka, picking up his 6th save of the year.
Arto Toikka hit a 2-run double off Jeffery Brock in the top of the ninth, which put the Love Boats in front, 7-6. In addition to the double, Toikka had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"I like our mindset right now," said Lake Minnetonka manager Culley Adjeng.
With their winning streak at 6, the Love Boats have raced to a strong start this season.
