Nelson goes 4-for-4, Leads Fog to Win
Sunset District beat Port Royal at Fog Park, eking out a 10-9 win. The win was due in large part to first baseman Cecil Nelson, who earned player of the game honors. Sunset District reliever Yajirobei Matsumoto picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Paco Salazar took the loss. Sunset District has now reeled off 9 straight wins.

Nelson contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Sunset District in the bottom of the eighth. With his team trailing 9-8, Nelson took a fastball from Paco Salazar and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Fog to leap in front, 10-9.

"I like the roll we're on," said Sunset District manager Theo Graves.
