Lynx Fall to Supernovas, 6-3
|
António Casas was instrumental in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Calgary Lynx. The center fielder was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Scranton Supernovas. Scranton starter Amando Codes was credited with the win after throwing 98 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. Earning his 4th save for Scranton was Butch Cummings.
The Supernovas grabbed the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out, Chase Popoff hit a 2-run home run off Greg Fontenot, putting Scranton in front, 4-1. For Popoff, it was his 4th home run of the season.
