Belugas Walk Off with Win
The Brinkley Belugas topped the Texas Bronze Sox, 5-4, in USPL Triple A action at Belugas Ballpark. The player of the game was Brinkley pitcher and Wade Hampton, South Carolina native Matt Martin. Brinkley reliever Rafael Bernal picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Manuel Torres was collared with the loss. Brinkley has now won 6 straight.

Brinkley took a 5-4 lead on Stephen Goldobenko's 18th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Goldobenko hit in the bottom of the tenth, left Texas pitcher Manuel Torres shaking his head.

"This wasn't a good win," said Goldobenko. "It was a great win."
