The Alaskan Humpbacks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Glenn Suggett, who muffled the Sunset District offense en route to a tight 2-0 Humpbacks win at Sea World. Alaskan reliever Will Kirby picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Benjamin Wyles took the loss. The win brings the Humpbacks to 11-6, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The Humpbacks got a lift from third baseman Roberts Hamhock who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the eighth inning off Benjamin Wyles. It was his 11th walk of the season and put Alaskan in front, 1-0.

"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Alaskan manager John Carney.
