The Calgary Lynx racked up a win at Jerome Grounds, bumping off the Bakersfield Nobles, 4-3. Xiao-shuang Wong, who started for Calgary, pitched effectively for his team. Wong picked up the win for Calgary, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Ainanani Oliwa picked up the save, his 1st.
The result might have been different for Calgary, had it not been for Gabriel Hernández. The second baseman produced a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 3-2. For the game, Hernández had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
