Jersey City Tritons starter Paul Vereen was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Alaskan Humpbacks, 6-3. Kent Randall was credited with the save for Jersey City, his 5th of the season. With the loss, Alaskan sinks to 9-5.
Bob McDougle tagged a home run off Kingston Liniak in the bottom of the eighth. His 3-run blast put the Tritons on top, 6-3. In all, McDougle had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Vereen called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
