The Calgary Lynx got a sterling performance from pitcher Ángel Flores, but the Disaster still prevailed, 3-2. Flores was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. With the loss, Calgary drops to 6-7.

Port Royal used the bat of Jorge Corella to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Disaster ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.

Corella called the win "a collective effort."
