Longnecks Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Calgary Lynx got a sterling performance from third baseman Ralph Sands, but the Longnecks still prevailed, 4-3. Sands was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ron Rouse picked up the win with 5 innings of work.
