The Brinkley Belugas and Port Royal Disaster played an exciting game at Ballpark of Port Royal.
The Belugas had to overcome a fine performance from Port Royal pitcher Phil Soto to grab a 4-2 win at Ballpark of Port Royal. Soto allowed 3 earned runs over 7 innings. Brinkley reliever Bob Roth picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Phil Soto shouldered the loss.
Lawrence Stokes chipped in for Brinkley, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a double.
