The Pennsauken Flyers got a sterling performance from right fielder Arturo Annunziato, but the Red Pandas still prevailed, 2-1. Annunziato was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. Sioux Falls is now 49-53, Pennsauken 53-49.
Bryant Dixon had a nice at-bat for the Red Pandas with no one out in the top of the ninth. With the bases empty, the second baseman drew a walk, which would prove important in the Sioux Falls win.
Dixon called the win "a collective effort."
