The Houston BC got a superb performance from left fielder Walt Miller, but the Sioux Falls Red Pandas still won the game, 4-3. Miller was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. Reliever Octávio Valdéz picked up the win. His record improves to 5-0. Harvey Wyles took the loss. António Alomar was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.
