BC Stymie Pennsauken, Take 6-1 Win
|
The Houston BC got a good effort from starter Patrick Ibáñez in defeating the Pennsauken Flyers at Houston Park. The final score was 6-1. Sam White earned the save for Houston, his 1st of the year. The 5th-place Flyers have lost 5 straight games.
The BC grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With one out, Walt Miller hit a 2-run home run off Santo Velazco, putting Houston in front, 3-0. For Miller, it was his 7th home run of the season.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Miller said.
