Drummers Pick Up 7-2 Win

Adrian Rodgers did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Sioux Falls Red Pandas from losing, 7-2, to the Tortolita Drummers at Drummers Ballpark. Rodgers went 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles. The Drummers improved to a lofty 74-21.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Drummers were trailing 2-1. Mario Ramos delivered a two-out 2-run single for Tortolita, catapulting his team into the lead.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Tortolita manager Wilson Alvarado.
