Coyotes Win at Pennsauken, 4-1
|
The Hamilton Coyotes defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-1, in M3L Triple A action at Pennsauken Park, with Hamilton pitcher Francisco Díaz named player of the game. Díaz went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 5-8. Hamilton is last in the Menard's AAA with a record of 28-65.
Hamilton used the timely hitting of José Bumgarnor to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Coyotes on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It feels good to get this one," Díaz told the Hamilton Citizen.
