Fighting Dachsunds Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Timber Hawks
Augusta first baseman Henry Buckley had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Buckley went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Ellenburg beat the Timber Hawks, 10-7. Buckley was named the player of the game despite the loss. The save went to Rafael García, his 7th this season. The Fighting Dachsunds saw their record improve to 42-46.

Lowell Evans tagged a home run off Luis Oropeza in the bottom of the eighth. His 3-run blast put the Fighting Dachsunds on top, 10-7. In all, Evans had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Evans.
