Men Top Coyotes, 10-7
|
The Florida Men topped the Hamilton Coyotes, 10-7, with left fielder Ronald Anderson playing a big role. Anderson went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Men in the win. James Davis notched his 1st save in 1 chances. With the win over Hamilton, the Men improved to 31-44.
The outcome might have been different for Florida, had it not been for Charles Godard, the 22-year old center fielder . Godard stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Florida up, 2-0. For the game, he was 4 for 6, including 1 double and 3 singles.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Godard said after the game.
